Shakha Picnic- Ultimate Frisbee on Friday (9/21)!!

Our shakha's going to be organizing a picnic this Friday at Central
Park. We're basically going to be playing Ultimate Frisbeeeee, some
soccer, and just chilling and meeting new people. PLUS, there's going
to be food (make your own sandwiches!...sweet, I know). We're going to
meet up in Central Park at 4:00pm. Since many of us will be going to
the park from NYU, we're going to meet outside Palladium (14th street
entrance) at 3:30 and head out together from there (since we need to
take the subway from Union Square anyways).
So everyone who is receiving this email is invited!! Plus, bring any
friends that you think will be interested. Can everyone do me a favor
though? Reply back to me and let me know if you can or can't make it,
or if you're going to be late or something, please!
If you want to just meet us there, here are your instructions to get
to where we're meeting in the park:
- Take the N, R, or W train to 5 Avenue Station and go to 5 Ave. and
E60 St.
- From the NW corner of Grand Army Plaza (that small circle area with
the statue of the guy on the horse) head North on East Drive (the road
with the horse path).
- After passing the lake on your left, enter one of the trails on your
left once you see the mini theme park (set up in Wollman Rink).
- Follow the trail around to the North of the Rink.
- We will meet up immediately North of the Rink and South of the Dairy
(west of this Big Rock) in the grassy area.
The entire walk from the subway station to the spot in the park
shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes depending on how fast your
walking.
