Today, I made a remarkable discovery in the organisation that goes by
this name.

They're advocating the application of business, drawing on the work of
Yunus in microfinance and "Conscious Capitalism" as a peace strategy
which is the same path P-CED has been treading since the white paper
on a new economic paradigm.
I'd not noticed earlier, it being embedded in the Business Fights
Poverty network which seems to have blocked my membership and won't
respond to me.

These concepts are things that I've tried to raise in discussion on
the Social Edge discussion about the Skoll World Forum last week, but
as yet, I'm the only participant it seems.

It's a source of increasing frustration that social enterprise becomes
increasingly more distant to the low budget organisation. A sense also
derived from Davos recently where Richard Branson spoke at the
Ukrainian lunch to advocate greater business involvement in social
problems

I'd since written several times to his Virgin Unite organisation about
our efforts in this country, and desire to lead the way with models of
the rehab centres their govenrment has agreed to, but there hasn't
been any encouragement.
Is it just me with the impression that we aiming for the same
objectives aren't really working together as we might?
