Grameen Foundation and Google create mobile apps for Africa

In this piece, the Seattle Times examines new mobile applications that
were launched in Uganda earlier today. Developed in collaboration with
Google and MTN Uganda, the apps provide much-needed services to
Uganda's poor and disadvantaged communities.

As ISF (Italian computer scientists w/o borders, NGO) we are studying
possible applications in the frame of our contacts with Google and
current missions in Africa.
