Forwarded to the group with the aim of making contact with Dr Yunus
and others who would be willing to participate.

Dear Jeff,

Further to our recent conversation, I am writing to ask for your
recommendations for a speaker at next year's Warwick Economics Summit:
in the form of a social enterprise industry expert, organisation head
or academic. By way of reminder, Warwick Economics Summit is a 3-day
event during which we host renowned speakers from across the world to
address an equally international student audience. Whilst our talks
are notionally economics centered, we also cover adjacent topics in
the social sciences and beyond: such as politics, international
relations, business, development, psychology, etc. The event will take
place between the 19th-21st of February at the University of Warwick,
UK.

As I mentioned ealier, we are also looking into inviting Dr. Yunus of
Grameen Bank to next year's event. Any information you can provide to
help me with this cause would be deeply appreciated. If you would like
further information about the Summit or if you have any point(s) of
enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
Darryl Mootoosamy

yunus typically asks that student conferences also involve their vice
chancellor - he gets thousands of invites a year; he wants to go where
something will sustain after his leaving- like a new course in his
other way round systems and true microeconomics

the best model in uk for this is glasgow caledonian

I also dont erally understand Darryl Mootoosamy - searches of him on
twitter etc don't seem to show any particular interest in yunus etc
but then you havent provided links to who he is

He tells me he's a student. I don't know if organising from the bottom up this way is typical
