Hi,

I am using the yUML class diagram feature for drawing non-UML diagrams
and the text that I am putting into the slots designed for class names
or method lists contains all types of punctuation.

In one case there was a semi-colon in the middle of a sentence. The
first part of the sentence went in the class box OK but all the words
after the semi colon went into grey ovals at the side of the diagram -
sometimes in the letter n added at the beginning.

Is it possible to escape the ':' character? Or better still escape any
character in general?

Thanks for the post.

It's a bit of a pain, but you can usually find another unicode character to replace the semi-colon so that yUML ignores it. Try copying one of the characters below and using that in your diagram instead of a regular ';'.

This is a bug though, one which we'll eventually to fix.

How can I use square brackets for Arrays? Which encoding do I have to use? I want to show a class with a "points:Point[]" Array, but it doesn't work: %5B shows no left square bracket:

Isn't it implemented yet? And which special characters are allready implemented?

Best bet would be to find a utf-8 character (on fileformat.info) which looks like a [ and use that.

Not perfect, but workable.
