Hi all,

I was an Ubuntu user that disliked the Gnome fork that led to the Unity shell.
I became a Fedora and Gnome Shell user.

Two of the things I sorely missed from the Debian world were aptitude and synaptic tools.
Then I found yumex. This is why I love to say: Yum extender is very important to Fedora!

So I would like to thank you for this wonderful tool. I look forward to the new gtk3 version.

Best regards,
Emanuele Gissi

I too really like Yumex. I upgraded to FC16 and tried the installed
program to do updates - Apper - and it really is a disaster especially
when something goes wrong. I just updated my wife's computer ( p.s. she
really likes linux esp. the multiple workspaces) and had a problem. I
had tried Apper and it said there were errors but I could not figure out
ow to fix them with Apper. I then used what I should have used in the
first place - Yumex. Same error but easily fixed with Yumex.

Thanks again for this wonderful tool.
