to Yum Extender
On the RH5.4 system, I've had a "crash" and had to reinstall and went
through the registration process. After that, I run yum and it does
look for updates in repositories like "rhel-5-i386-client". I have
not yet figured how it does that because the registration process did
not create repo files for that repository under /etc/yum.repos.d. In
the previous RedHat, I did have the repo file, but somehow yum works
without one now.
But yumex does not find the same repositories, presumably because it
checks /etc/yum.repos.d.
I only administer this one RH system, all the rest are Centos. And if
I keep running into issues like this, they all will be Centos.
