Sorry for being a while. I'm pretty busy, with school and all that. This was done a bit haphazardly, but I still hope you like this chapter.

"Ikuuuu! Breakfast time!"
Back at the house where Iku and her two owners lived, Terry is walking around with a plate of food, looking for his pet Iku. He scans the kitchen first, where his apprentice Melody is eating her breakfast already. However, Iku isn't in the kitchen. After thinking for a short moment, the white mage got an idea of where Iku went.
"Melly, when you're done with breakfast, go pick the vegetables. They should be done now."
"Okay, master."
Terry nods at his apprentice and goes to the side porch, where he finds Iku sleeping. He places Iku's breakfast next to her, but the yukkuri fails to wake up to the breakfast. Terry begins poking her to wake her up, and it works.
"Yu? Mister?"
"Morning Iku. Take it easy."
"Yu! Take it easy mister!"
The white mage smiles and pats Iku on the head, who rubs his hand affectionately. After that, he places breakfast in front of Iku: fried eggs and bacon.
"Thanks mister!"
"No problem. Enjoy."
"Munch munch. Happiness!"
As Terry watches Iku eat breakfast, he notices something crawling up to him at a slow pace.
"Slowly.... Slowly...."
"Yu? Mister, it's a Marisa."
"I noticed, Iku. What's she doing here?"
"Slowly.... Slowly...."
Iku watches as Terry walks over to the Marisa and picks her up, holding the yukkuri in the palm of his hand.
"It's like flying in the sk--yu?! Why is uneasy Mister here, ze?!"
"I saw you coming, you know?"
"Yu, nobody can see the Great Marisa while she is doing sneak sneak, ze!!"
"Yu, yukkuri that do sneak sneak in the open will obviously get caught like that..."
"An Iku?! Mister slave punish shitty Iku and bring the Great Marisa munch munch, ze!"
"Marisa shouldn't say uneasy things to kind mister! Apologize easy!"
"Shitty Iku that doesn't share munch munch should die easy, ze!!"
"Now, now."
Marisa jumps out of Terry's hand and dives for Iku, but makes a sudden stop two feet before she lands. She doesn't notice, but there is a faint glow around her. Iku, who had braced herself for impact, opens her eyes after nothing happens and looks at the Marisa, confused. Looking past the floating yukkuri, she sees that her owner is holding Marisa in place with his psychic powers. The offending Marisa, on the other hand, gets a different idea.
"Yu? Why isn't the Great Marisa moving, ze?"
"Yu! Marisa is flying!"
"Yua?! The Great Marisa is flying, ze? Yu!! The Great Marisa can fly now, so no one can defeat the Great Marisa, ze! Shitty slave that can't fly go bring Great and Powerful Marisa sweet sweets, ze!! Lots is fine, ze! Now is good, ze!"
"Oh dear, there's no helping this one, I guess..."
Terry turns towards the house and shouts so that Melody can hear him.
"Hey, Mellie! When you're done with the vegetables, go practice that spell I showed you yesterday, alright?"
"Got it!"
Suddenly, there is a rustle in the bushes. Terry and Iku turn towards the greenery, ignoring the Marisa's demands for sweets and food. It doesn't move again, so the two eventually assume it's nothing of note.
"Well then, I'm gonna get going, Iku."
"Where is Mister going?"
"Going hunting. I think I'll have a use for this Marisa."
"Yu, Mister does hunt hunt, ze? The Great Marisa also does hunt hunt for little ones and beautiful Deibu, ze! Nobody can beat Marisa when it comes to hunt hunt, ZE!!"
"Ah, so you do have a family. No matter, it won't be a big loss. Well, I'll be headed out, now. Iku, do tell Mellie where I went, okay?"
"Yu...."
"You can do disco with the headphones afterwards."
"Yu!! Okay! Iku will tell Miss and then go disco easy!"
Iku quickly scarfs down her breakfast and hops into the house to find Melody as Terry walks into the woods with the Marisa (still floating and demanding sweets) with him.
---Meanwhile---
"Mukyu! Mukyu! Patchouli needs to get to Mister Veggies before Miss Human does! Patchy needs to hurry!! Mukyu. Mukyu? Mukyuuuu!!"
"Hm? What was that?"
The Great Sage Patchouli shuffles back into the bushes it had popped out of before it was spotted by Melody, who was picking vegetables in the garden before she looked up.
"Must be my imagination," Melody said as she resumed her chore.
The Great Sage watched from the bushes with increasing worry. She had originally expected the Marisa she followed to the house to be able to beat the Iku on the porch, but she hadn't counted on the Mister Human coming. Having watched Mister Human and Iku for a long time, she knew that Iku is a pet yukkuri, and that her badge is symbolic of that. If Marisa attacked Iku, and Patchy went over to help Iku, then even if the Great Sage lost, the Mister would surely be grateful at Patchouli for saving his pet Iku. He would then surely accept the Great Sage as a pet, allowing Patchouli and Iku to take it easy together. Of course, this plan was foiled instantly when the stupid Marisa had come out when Terry was already with Iku. Patchouli never expected Marisa to be able to win, having seen Terry use magic through the glass room next to his house. To add insult to injury, Mister Human told Miss Human to pick the vegetables in the garden! Now the Great Sage can't steal them without being caught!
By the time Melody goes into the house, all the vegetables in the garden had already been plucked. Racking her brains to figure out a solution, Patchouli's gaze slowly turns to the plentiful herbs that Melody did not pick.
"Mukyu! Mister Herbs are still here!" Checking to see if the coast is clear, Patchouli quickly leaps out to the garden and rushes to the herbs. She yanks out some herbs haphazardly, not really caring about the dirt she flung out of the way. With some easy munch munch to go, the Sage runs back into the woods without bothering to cover up her tracks. Luckily, she drags the herbs behind her, covering at least her footprints.
"Mukyu! Sage has gotten munch munch! But this isn't enough... Patchy will need more," she said as she passes by a tree with a family of noisy yukkuri inside.
When Melody came into the backyard for the second time to go into the glass room, she noticed that some herbs had been hazardly uprooted.
"Hm? Did I do that?"
---Back to Terry---
"Yu! Shitty slave bring Marisa sweet sweets, ze! Now is fine, ze!"
"Do you really talk to everyone like that? Demanding sweets all the time?"
"Stop saying things the Great Marisa doesn't understand and bring sweet sweets, ze!"
"They're easy questions, really. Just yes or no."
"Just give Marisa sweet sweets shitty slave, ze!"
"Ah! And cross this river into the forest. I hope I can find something good."
Ignoring the Great Marisa and a 'Keep Out- Danger' sign at the other end of the river, Terry hops across some rocks to get there. After walking a short distance into the woods, he stops and places the Marisa down.
"What is mister slave doing, ze?! Bring Marisa sweet sweets, ZE!!"
She began puffing up at Terry, who really just looks slightly annoyed.
"Can you be quiet for once?"
"Bring Marisa sweet sweets or Marisa will show you her great big puff, ze! Shitty slave that doesn't bring sweet sweets should drop dead easy, ze!"
"You're already puffing, though..."
"PUUUUUFFFF!!"
"Ah, looks like it's already here. I'm not even prepared yet..."
Terry looks around and quickly climbs up a tree. Marisa tries to follow him, but sadly she cannot climb trees.
"Yu! Where is shitty slave going, ze? Come back and give Marisa her sweet sweets or face Marisa's super strong puff, ZE!!"
She puffs up at the last word, glaring up the tree, but the white mage is nowhere to be found. As she is puffing, something approaches her from behind. By the time she even notices it's shadow and turns around to see, it is already in her face.
A bear.
A great big fucking bear.
