Thanks for making the gmail large size python script -- its extremely
useful! Would it be possible for you to make a web-based version of
the python script, so people who are not as tech savvy with python can
also use it? Trying to delete the largest messages is a common need.

I don't have server and Google App Engine currently doesn't support IMAP library, therefore it's not possible.

I don't think you really need to be able to read Python script. You only need to know how to run a Python script, though I didn't test it on other OS, but I think it should be fine on Windows and Mac.

and I think you can charge for the service too. Your market is all the
people complaining in the online groups and forums who are frustrated
that they cannot sort gmail by size and don't want to pay for
increasing their inbox size:

I didn't know that and I was exciting to heart that.

But after I read the page, it's not the all story.

"Beginning November 1, new AWS customers will be able to run a free Amazon EC2 Micro Instance for a year,..."

It only offers for one year.

So, the hope of this webapp has run away once again. ;p

About the charging, I wouldn't do so if I really write one. It's unfair to Gmail (not because they won't earn potential money) or to people who need to see the large emails in my opinion. (It's hard to explain why, so don't ask)

I really wish I could help on this issue more.
