I love the extension - it's really nice to get rid of trending topics.

Is there any way you could design it to filter tweets from my timeline
that contain any of the topics I set?

A few friends of mine tweet incessantly about something I am not
interested it, and it's clogging my timeline. I don't want to unfollow
them, just get rid of the tweets about topics I don't care about.

I actually have similar (exclusion) filter working for me -- I filter
out someone's tweets and the tweets have mentioned that person. It's
just a temporary hack for my own use, so I didn't release.

This feature is on list already, but I couldn't guarantee when it
would be done, there is a fundamental stuff need to be rewrite/
refactor.

And there is a caveat you must be aware of, the results after filter
could be empty. You have to click on more button for get another 20
tweets and it might still empty.
