Senior Storage Admin

Job description

• Manage and provision storage on multiple Enterprise Storage subsystems,
• Manage/Maintain and update Cisco/Brocade directors and modular switches
• Work with application developers, System Administrators and DBA's to determine storage and performance requirements,
• Perform any host-level tasks need to access to storage including configuration of Storage Software,
• Troubleshoot SAN & storage related issues including Performance,
• Analyze daily storage and backup infrastructure and collect information for the generation of storage reports,
• Building new storage & SAN standards based on policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (Preferably Computer or Electronics),
• Experience of EMC, HITACHI arrays with Business Continuity (TimeFinder, SRDF, TruCopy, ShadowImage etc. ),
• Preferred knowledge of Cisco MDS Family and Brocade DCX,48000 Series Directors,
• Preferred knowledge of Linux/Solaris/AIX/HPUX systems,
• Preferred knowledge of EMC command line and administrative tools like ECC & SYMCLI,
• Knowledge of operating systems (Unix/Linux or NT) with different volume manager,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
