Hi I am on linux and have been trying to install ytex. I followed these instructions and everything worked out fine. However when I executed the last command on the page which is
tail -f setup.out
it is taking forever for that to complete. It's been over 12 hours and it's is still going on. All I see is
time - date - my.mas.jdl.data.loader.CsvLoader - inserted 10000 rows.

This keeps on showing up every 8 minutes or so. I understand that this is a long process but how long is it supposed to go on? Thanks.

the connection between the server you're running YTEX on and the Database is very slow - should take 30 sec between every 10K rows

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me any specific reason why the connection is so slow? It is still going on. Can I stop the process and start it again? How many rows are supposed to be inserted?
