The Masquerade Series - Seth Dickinson
Aminata isiSegu (Masquerade Series), Baru Cormorant (Masquerade Series), Tain Hu (Masquerade Series)
Prompts:
- I can't stop thinking about Chapter 10 of The Tyrant Baru Cormorant, and how Aminata finds Baru (in that moment Barhu) with her 'cocky lopsided smile that Aminata did not remember from school at *all*'. And this followed by Aminata watching and reacting to Baru kissing Ulyu Xe at the end of this chapter. I would love to read an exploration of Aminata/Baru (Barhu) based on these interactions.
- Or the same idea as above but from Baru's perspective. Is Tain Hu there behind Baru's eyes? Is she participating? Is she coaching? Is it actually Aminata/Baru/Hu?
- Baru & Aminata (or Baru/Aminata) set at any time over the course of the series. I would love to see more of their interaction/reunion after the end of Tyrant. I would love to read something set at the beginnings of their friendship. Or maybe they met up one additional time in Aurdwynn that we never got to see. Maybe something additional happened between them between the scene in the tavern in Traitor and Baru waking up with a hangover the next morning.
- More Barhu interacting with just about anyone. I'm especially interested in how Tain Hu's presence changes how Baru interacts (like the lopsided smile example above), but perhaps, most especially, how Baru interacts with women she is interested in sleeping with

The Space Between Worlds - Micaiah Johnson
Earth-0 Dell (Space Between Worlds), Earth-22 Caralee (Space Between Worlds)
Prompts:
- I would love to see Dell's moment of realization that Cara is not Caramenta
- The end of the book, which speculates as many parallel/possible futures, seems like it might be fitting for a post-canon 5+1 type story (does not need to be the exact scenarios listed). Below in my DNW, I state that I don't want a version of Earth where they don't end up together. An exception to that would be something along the lines of a 5+1 where that is *a* scenario, but is not the final scenario, if that makes sense (hopefully that makes sense!)
- Dell's realization that the jade earring Cara gives her is not the same one that Dell lost.
- I'm itching to read basically the entire book from Dell's POV, so would love to see almost any scene revisited in a way that gives additional insight into Dell, or any scene that fills in blanks within the canon.
I really just want more of these two in whatever capacity you can provide!

The Locked Tomb Series | Gideon the Ninth Series - Tamsyn Muir
Gideon Nav, Harrowhark Nonagesimus, Ianthe Tridentarius
Prompts:
-Gideon (still in Harrow's body) and Ianthe are sent to a BoE planet on some kind of mission--maybe they're looking for Corona, Camilla, and Judith? Maybe it's some other mission John sends them on--and have to try to blend in. This requires them to do really mundane human things, obscure skeletal arms, and not carry really big swords. Hilarity ensues (it doesn't actually have to be funny. I just like the idea of Lyctors trying to pretend they're 'normal' and pass as human)
-Alternatively, same scenario as above, except it's Ianthe and Harrow doing the blending. I don't know how this would come about given the events and ending of HtN, but feel free to handwave away whatever you need to, or just throw them a bunch of years in the future or something
-Okay, hear me out: Two Lyctors and a Baby! In this ridiculous prompt scenario, Harrow and Ianthe somehow acquire a small child and they are terrible parents (but in a mostly comedic way?) Bonus points if Gideon is involved in this somehow (from within her own body or inside Harrow's, either way!)
-I would love to see a reunion of surviving Lyctors set in the far-distant future. Assuming Harrow and Ianthe (and possibly Gideon/any of the rest of the cast you might want to Lyctorize and include) survive the series, what might they be like after another 10,000 years have passed? Are they more or less of a mess than the original Lyctors were?
-Prompts are just suggestions, and in the end, I love everything about the mess of these three together and interacting and I would love to see more in whatever way inspires you. Ship-wise, I'm interested in Harrow/Gideon/Ianthe, Harrow (Gideon sharing her body)/Ianthe, Gideon (in Harrow's body and sharing it with an also present Harrow)/Ianthe, and Gideon/Harrow. I'm less interested in Harrow/Ianthe without the presence of Gideon in some capacity, or Gideon/Ianthe without Harrow involved.
