Tokime Shizuka, Hiroe Chiharu

I have the most interest in the Tokime Clan characters, with their interesting backstory that has a lot of traditional Japanese horror tropes stuffed into it. I've requested Shizuka and Chiharu specifically, I'm happy to receive anything about the friendship of the magical girls within the Tokime Clain, their relationships with their families and the people of the village, or their connections with the Kamihama girls or the other factions of the second arc of the game. Does Shizuka introduce Chiharu and Sunao to some other aspects of Tokime lore or village rituals, like in the New Year's story? Do they learn more about the other magical girls/kannushi who were sacrificed in previous years? What new modern trends and technologies Shizuka going to struggle with? I'm fine with darker storylines as long as the appropriate warnings for violence (of whatever kind) are in place, so if you wanted to go AU and explore some of the Bad Ends from the Green Jasper Diviners storylines or Shizuka's brief time with Neo-Magius, that would also be fine. I'm fully caught up on the game, so no fears about spoilers here!

There is almost no fic for this fairly new series so feel free to explore any aspect that takes your fancy! An AU where Baba ignores the fateful phone call and successfully passes the trumpet audition? A training mishap for Kokusho that leaves him in need of a pep talk from his comrades or from Yame? Sakurama's struggles with being a woman in a VERY male-dominated military culture, where she has to work twice as hard for half the recognition? A story about Yame's time as a young JSDF soldier, dealing with a different security situation? I feel like there are a lot of possibilities, so any combination of one or any of the nominated characters are fine, as is the inclusion of others!

I am all in for exploring the weirdness of Shiki and Mikiya's developing relationship, particularly as the series progresses and tons of things seem to be left unsaid. Does Mikiya know all the details about Shiki's new hand? Does Shiki ever wonder why Mikiya was able to locate Touko in the first place, in spite of the myriad wards and barriers that Touko built up around herself? Do little things ever slip out in conversation, like "so I saw my boss's severed head in a jar the other day" or "there was that time I had to fight zombies", and it's just part and parcel of their everyday life? If you'd like to bring in other characters from the series, Touko is my favorite, but a focus on Shiki and Mikiya (either or both) would also be fine!

Slice-of-life fic would be ideal for this series, and I'd be happy with anything from any of the cast set before, during, or after the main storylines. In particular, I'm here for the camping trips that DON'T go well -- the ones where it pours down rain the whole time, or the tent gets torn as they're trying to set it up and they have to patch it with whatever comes to hand, or a new camping gadget (bought on sale!) backfires spectacularly, or someone wakes up to a spider on their forehead, or the bathrooms at a camp site leave a LOT to be desired. Maybe two of the girls on a trip get into an argument over something trivial, and the others have to resolve the situation? Or on a more serious note, someone has an accident while hiking or doing some other outdoor activity, and the others have to rally to the rescue? I'm very flexible with my desires for this fandom!
