Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch

The River Lea is my favorite London river, and I’d love a story which features <i>genius loci</i> Lea in the context of the Folly’s ongoing magical crime-solving adventures. There’s so much history and interesting geography proximal to the river to draw upon! For this fandom in general: I love the specificity of the contemporary London setting. I also absolutely adore how Aaronovitch writes Peter’s lively, sarcastic, pop-culture-saturated first person POV voice: Not obligatory, of course, but if you want to reproduce that in your writing, please do! And I ship Peter/Nightingale, so if you want to go in that direction, the stuff about POV applies equally to porn, by the way. Speaking of porn, I’d be delighted to receive a story where they are having sex…the less PG-13—the better!! The gigantic generational difference between Peter and Nightingale—how it influences everything from their day-to-day routines, to how they practice magic and policing, to how they perceive the world in general—fascinates me, and seeing any of this emphasized in a story where they have a romantic connection would be fabulous. A story incorporating their first time, with one or both characters being sexually inexperienced, would be great too.
<i>Please don't worry about spoilers. I will be all caught up with the newest novel and comics by December 25 reveals, so feel free to incorporate them into your story however you like!</i>

Star Wars: Thrawn Series - Timothy Zahn (2017)

The Holmes-and-Watson-vs.-Moriarty plot of the first Thrawn novel is fabulous…and I absolutely adore the Holmes/Watson dynamic between Thrawn and Eli. Either gen or m/m is great! As is any genre, from war stories to sappy romance to space mystery-horror! Thrawn is so delightfully clueless about certain social mores; I’d love to see more fumbles of this sort. I also love Thrawn's analytical art-appreciation. What about additional missions, downtime, or missing scenes during the novel timeline? And Eli, so resentful of his situation, derided as a “pretty boy”—I’m sure I know what everyone else in the Imperial Navy was thinking about them, and what if they were right?!—but then by the end so loyal to and admiring of Thrawn. What happens to them after the novel? Does Thrawn miss Eli? Is Eli ever reunited with Thrawn? If you want to go into the weeds of Chiss culture, rituals related to romance/courtship/mating, weird alien biology, and/or xeno sex—yes, please!!

Robert created Bernard in his dead partner’s image. It’s easy to imagine their relationship as either & or /, and I confess I’m utterly fascinated by the low-key eroticism of their relationship in contrast to the in-your-face sexploitation of the other hosts—and the possibility that it wasn’t purely professional/platonic: Robert used Bernard as his personal fixer/assassin around the park; was he also using Bernard for illicit activities of a sexual nature? Alternatively, tell me more about the early days of his programming with Robert; apparently Bernard has “awakened” on multiple occasions. Tell me about one or more of those occasions: What were the circumstances? What happened? How did Robert get him back under control? Or, after the end of Season One: How does Bernard feel after Robert’s death, about finding out that he’s the android version of Arnold? It was so touching how Bernard imagined Robert in his head and helping/guiding him even after he was gone!
