Based on a True Story (TV 2023), Fantasy Island (TV 2021), Irreverent (TV), Ocean's 8 (2018), Ocean's Eleven Trilogy (Movies), The Company You Keep (TV 2023)

Request 1 by Galadriel
Fandom: Based on a True Story (TV 2023)
Characters: Nathan Bartlett, Ava Bartlett, Matt Pierce
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
I find this show so fascinating, especially considering how everything is ramping up to more and more complex (and kind of bonkers) twists and turns. I am a sucker for stories about people collaborating from both sides of the law, and while the Bartletts have already stepped way over the line, it still scratches the same itch for me.
I would love to "hear" the podcast, edited or not. (I'm not suggesting you have to actually record a podcast, just that I'd love a story that is about the actual podcast they're making, since so far we've only had snippets of it.) Is it the clean, edited version that goes out to the public and is so popular, or is it the pre-edited version, with tangents and arguing and all the push-pull that Ava and Nathan are experiencing as Matt tries to drive his own narrative? Or maybe you want to explore what a podcasting panel or interview with them would be like, sort of like the True Crime con they went to, where Matt set up an entire panel event? Or maybe something about the marketing would be fun, whether that's planning their merchandising, their branding, or a straight-up advertisement for their podcast? For that matter, how would they integrate advertising spots into the podcast? (Have you ever listened to The Black Tapes? The way they integrated advertising socks, underwear, and other products into a horror podcast was, well... infamously ridiculous. Meanwhile, other podcasts manage to pick and choose more appropriate products, or integrate them much more smoothly.) However you want to approach it, I would love something about the messy, weird process of creating a marketable (and utterly immoral) podcast with a serial killer.

Things I'm fond of in fiction include: historical uniforms/well-fitted suits/period costumes; eroticism; kink/BDSM (not 24/7 formalized D/s, however); power exchanges/struggles between powerful characters; established relationships; hurt/comfort scenarios where one party is (temporarily) injured/incapacitated and as a result, feelings are realized/revealed; and characters who are comfortably intimate with one another, both inside and outside the bedroom, and/or as friends.
DNWs: watersports, scatological play, MPREG, cross-dressing, genderswapping, bestiality, hurt/dead/dying animals, snakes/insects/arachnids, chronic/terminal illnesses, diminutive nicknames, phonetically spelled-out accents and character bashing (not even under the guise of humour), or issuefic/soapbox stories.
(As a silly sidenote, while I don't hate cats at all, I do prefer dogs, so if you're thinking of adding a non-canonical pet to a story, I connect better with canine characters. Or dragons. Dragons are awesome.)

Fandom: Fantasy Island (TV 2021)
Characters: Elena Roarke, Javier (Fantasy Island TV 2021)
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
I'm just really sad that this show was cancelled. I love how this show balanced real-world concerns and emotions with fantastical situations, how female-friendly and sometimes straight up feminist it was, and I'd just really love to see Elena and Javier find their happiness together on the island. Do you want to give them a fun fantasy? It seems like Elena never gets to explore things the way her guests do. Is there a way to make them both feel like they've made the right decision to stay and serve the island, in a way that gets rid of regrets and uncertainty? If you are comfortable with it, I'd love to see a reference or two to her uncle (and maybe the original Tattoo, if there's a way to include him respectfully?). Basically, I'm looking for a happily ever after for Javier and Elena. I thought they fit together so beautifully when they weren't getting in their own way; they complimented each other, with Elena seemingly more practical to Javier's sometimes more hopeful and optimistic outlook, and just... yeah. They were so great together, and I'd just love to see the series capped off with their HEA.
While I haven't listed them, I do love Ruby and Segundo as well, so feel free to use them (or not) as you prefer.

Fandom: Irreverent (TV)
Characters: Paulo | Mack (Irreverent), Lewis (Irreverent)
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
I just really love Irreverent, for all sorts of reasons, not only the cat-and-mouse of Paulo hiding in a tiny town in Australia, but also the cultural clashes and the way he navigates criminality and ministering to the community. I love how as much as he sees himself as a con artist and criminal, his basic good nature always wins out in the end... and sometimes leans fully into his criminality to do so.
I would love a story about Paulo and Lewis' relationship before the events of the show -- romantic if possible, even if it's just two ships passing in the night -- and what that looks like. Maybe something about Paulo escaping scot-free from another scrape? Or how his fast-thinking and fast-talking keeps him alive? Tell me about his life before Australia: was he as clever as he is in the show? As self-assured? Or are those traits that come later? How does Lewis fit into his life? How did they meet? How did their relationship/partnership develop? Flashes of the man Paulo will become would be lots of fun too. Or just foreshadowing the ridiculousness of Paulo pretending to be a religious man. Perhaps it's a story of Mack looking back on his pre-reverend exploits. Is he still using the same skills and thinking the same way, or is everything about his life different now?

Request 4 by Galadriel
Fandom: Ocean's 8 (2018)
Characters: Debbie Ocean (Ocean's 8), Lou Miller (Ocean's 8)
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
Just as with my other Ocean's request, I love the Rube Goldberg-feel of the heists, but I'm very interested in Debbie and Lou's relationship in 8. I love how well they work together (and if you are interested in Ocean's 11 through 13, I am fascinated by how they operate in similar and wildly different ways from Danny and Rusty), and how sometimes they seem like they fit together perfectly, and other times, they chafe against each other. It seems like a really interesting, complex relationship where they both attract and annoy each other at the same time.
I would love to know how they met, how they began working together, and how their relationship developed. I'm interested in exploring it in a romantic way, and I'd love something pre-8, maybe an early heist, or Debbie navigating her family -- did she grow up in a con-artist family, or fall into it?
If you enjoy the other Ocean's movies, I'd love something post-Danny's death (assuming he has faked his death), that explores how this impacts Debbie, and whether or not she believes he's really gone. I'd also love seeing her and Lou look into Danny's death. How did Debbie find out? Is he really gone? Does she find traces of him somewhere, or is he simply out of reach right now? How do she and Lou navigate the strange grief for someone who may not really be dead?

Request 5 by Galadriel
Fandom: Ocean's Eleven Trilogy (Movies)
Characters: Danny Ocean, Rusty Ryan
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
While I love the Rube Goldberg-esqueness of the heists in the Ocean's movies, what I really love is Danny and Rusty's relationship. I love how their banter is at once snarky AND fond. I love how they finish each others' sentences, how they know what each other is thinking (and boy, I love those conversations that are half just in their heads, like when Danny is arguing with Rusty on whether they need 10 or 11 people, and Rusty is silent the entire time; or the way they plan whole heist scenarios with nothing more than a few key words and phrases; or the surprisingly vulnerable, emotional conversations about their relationships [or the Oprah show!] that are mostly unsaid, but fully understood by them both), and how every goodbye is really just a "see you later."
I would love a story about the two of them that focuses on their relationship in a more romantic way, whether that's during a downtime between heists, or during the planning or execution of their next caper, or something that takes place before Ocean's 11. How did they meet? How did their relationship develop? What were their first collaborations like? Any of those questions might be fun to explore.
If you also like Ocean's 8 -- and are comfortable with assuming Danny has faked his death and is perfectly fine somewhere -- I'd be interested in a story post-Ocean's 13 that explores why and how he faked his death, and whether/how Rusty was involved. Where is he now? Is he going to resurface? Does he think about how he's let his sister think he's died?
(Also: I like Tess and Isabel, so if you want to include them you can, and explore how relationships with them work in the context of Rusty and Danny also having some kind of romantic relationship as well, but don't feel obliged. I also love how Rusty is always eating on the go in the movies, so feel free to bring that in if it fits!)

Request 6 by Galadriel
Fandom: The Company You Keep (TV 2023)
Characters: Charlie Nicoletti, Emma Hill (The Company You Keep)
Character Requirement: My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags (if 0: any from tag set)

Prompt:
This is another one that I'm just really sad to see cancelled. Can you navigate the crime family vs. law-abiders successfully, and find a good balance for Charlie and Emma to end up together? Are they able to bring down Finch and all her associates? Is there another criminal organization on the horizon? If they do manage to best Finch and release the Nicoletti's from her sway, what is next for them? Is there a world where Charlie or Emma give up crime OR law for the other? What does that look like? Do they need to find a happy medium? Is there a *happy* medium available?
As is probably clear from a lot of my requests this year, I am just a really big sucker for criminals collaborating with law-abiding folks, especially when romance complicates it all. I would love to find out if Emma and Charlie have a happily ever after waiting for them, and what that looks like. Feel free to reference the other characters in the show as needed, although please don't linger too much on the tragedy of Charlie's father's Alzheimer's -- I have experienced significant loss of loved ones through illness, so I'd rather not hang out in that space too much. Thanks!
