Deadline in 6 hours, pinch hits to follow

Dear, deeply appreciated pinch hit list,

The main deadline* for Yuletide 2022 is 9am UTC 18 December, and here is a countdown. As we send this email, it's six hours away. 

If you're writing, good luck! If you're interested in snagging a pinch hit, we expect to start sending pinch hits in large batches approximately 1-2 hours after the linked time. The new pinch hits we send after this point will be due at 9am UTC 22 December - you will have just under 4 days to write.

We ran into some trouble with the first batch of pinch hits we sent this year - the messages we sent arrived at the google group but weren't sent on to people's inboxes. However, the large batch we sent on 11 December travelled smoothly. Our fingers are crossed that we don't have any further trouble, but if you aren't getting updates, please check the google group and also the Yuletide admin community on Dreamwidth.
