I like to see the characters being intelligent—which might mean solving a minor mystery (or observing one being solved) or not.  Dealing with the newly-arrived Bredon could be fun, but I offer it simply as a prompt.

I'm happy to see any of the other 'regulars' from the books, but don't require them.

Chalion Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold

I am fascinated by the relationships between the characters and their gods, particularly this god(!) and would love to see more.  I like all the main characters from The Curse of Chalion and Paladin of Souls, and would be happy to see them but don't require them.

I had a wicked thought that I'd like to see them wrestle with a more modern time than they ever existed in, in the books.  I'd be charmed to see them in some kind of minor adventure, any time period but preferably not during an actual war.  

With this fandom, anything goes!  Take the absurdity to great heights if you like, or keep them stiff-upper-lipped if you prefer.  Throw in some crack or, who knows, even a *woman* if you want. Have fun with it.

DNW: I'd very much prefer not to have them involved in an actual war, please.

Persuasion - Jane Austen

I would like to see more of them!  Perhaps a prequel story - how did they meet?  Perhaps Anne's gradual realisation that she ought not to accept his proposal.  Perhaps something from the time when Charles' family thought she might marry him, and her thoughts on why not.  Alternatively, what happened just after the novel?  How did Anne's friends and relations react?  Did Mrs Croft give her advice?  What about further into the future?  Anything that sails quite close to canon would be most welcome!

DNW: AU - again, I'd like to see an extrapolation of the canon here.
