Mystery Flesh Pit National Park - Trevor Roberts, The Thing (1982), Akira (Anime 1988), Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)

Request 1 by Pinky G Rocket (pinkygrocket)
Mystery Flesh Pit National Park - Trevor Roberts
Worldbuilding (Mystery Flesh Pit National Park)

General DNWs: On-screen rape or sexual assault (sexual assault referred to in the background or in backstory is fine) // Incest // Watersports // Pregnancy (includes mpreg) // Scat // Beastality // A/B/O // Harm to cats // Lactation // Adult + minor (under 18/above 18) sexual/romantic relationships // Smut/sex for minor + minor relationships (both below 18) // Second-person perspective paired with reader insert // Smut/sexual content rated higher than Mature // Usage of racial, homophobic, or ableist slurs // Mentions of the COVID-19 pandemic
Fandom-specific DNWs: N/A
Canon accessibility: Mystery Flesh Pit National Park is available in its entirety online for free. Be aware that canon is presented out of order chronologically. Use Tumblr's chrono option to read from the beginning.

Likes: horror // body horror // alternate perspective // AUs // canon divergence // tender moments in dark scenarios // horror-comedy // contrasting fantastic with mundane // unconventional formats // graphic design // crossovers and fusions
Prompts and thoughts:
- In MFP canon, we've mostly seen responses to the 2007 disaster on an official level. How would people on various social media etc. respond and talk about the issue, both in 2007 and afterwards?
- If the 2007 disaster never happened and MFP remained operating for longer or even into the present, how would people on social media discuss the MFP and their experiences?
- The MFP universe is more or less "like reality except noted"; what if the discovery of the MFP caused history to heavily diverge?
- What if the MFP was discovered by colonizers, such as the Spanish, the French, the United States, etc. ? What would historical colonial documents regarding the MFP look like?
- Postcards, travel guides, and other ephemera related to the MFP universe.
- Crossover or fusion with characters from another fandom visiting the Mystery Flesh Pit.

The Thing (1982)
The Thing (The Thing 1982), Worldbuilding (The Thing 1982)

Fandom-specific DNWs: N/A
Canon accessibility: Available on Peacock premium, available for online rental for a few bucks all over the place. 1h49m.
Likes: apocalypse // crossovers/fusions // horror // body horror // despair // grimdark // character exploration // cosmic horror // post-canon
Thoughts and prompts:
- Apparently, there's an IRL lone post office in Antarctica, which got me thinking: how would the story of The Thing be told over letters or other correspondence or documents?
- Ephemera and documents created by the Outpost 31 crew. Scientific sketches? Detailing their distrust and paranoia in private journals? Making their own 'letters in bottles' for others to find, ala MacReady's tape? Something else?
- For artists, I would love to see alternate interpretations or takes on the Thing. Feel free to go nuts.
- The Thing ends up in the setting of another fictional universe. How would the characters be able to handle a monster such as The Thing?
- Exploration of an alternate post-canon in which the Thing manages to escape Antartica. What would the final days of humanity look like?

Akira (Anime 1988)
Worldbuilding (Akira Anime 1988), Shima Tetsuo (Akira Anime 1988), Kaneda Shoutarou (Akira Anime 1988)

Fandom-specific DNWs: Hard AUs/setting change AUs - soft AUs that alter canon or introduce crossover characters are fine. Romantic/sexual Kaneda/Tetuso.
Canon accessibility: Available on Tubi, Hulu, and Funimation. Subs recommended. 2h4m.
Character inclusion: You do not have to include all of the characters tagged.
Likes: during canon // body horror // horror // gore // alternate perspective // cyberpunk // crossovers // fusions // unconventional formats // graphic design // typography // worldbuilding
Prompts and thoughts:
- Alternate perspective on events during the film, especially first-person; I think the use first-person perspective with either Kaneda or Tetsuo could be really interesting, as it would allow digging into their personal thoughts.
- Canon events told from an unconventional perspective: second-person, documents, ephemera, media reports, drawings created by characters, so on and so forth. Feel free to go nuts.
- Worldbuilding the setting of Neo-Tokyo. During the events of the film, we see a lot happening in the background that makes the world feel bigger. Feel free to pick a thread and pull on it.
- For artists: I would adore seeing an alternate and/or abstract interpretation of Tetsuo's transformation.
- Crossover/fusion with Psychonauts.

Untitled Goose Game (Video Game)
Goose (Untitled Goose Game)

Fandom-specific DNWs: Graphic/gorey animal violence (cartoon violence is fine)
Canon accessibility: On PC and Mac, available on Steam, Humble, Itch.io, and Epic Games Store. Also available for Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch. $20 USD, should run fine on most machines.
Likes: crossovers/fusions // slapstick // comedy // humor // shengangins // low stakes // silliness // Fluff // Soulmate Goose of Enforcement // unwanted assistance
Prompts and thoughts: I just love how silly, calming, and low-stakes this game is. It puts a dumb, goofy smile on my face every time I watch gameplay. As such, I would like some comedy and silliness in the same vein as the game. If you're one for crossovers, I would love to see Goose annoying and tormenting characters of your choice from different fandoms.
