The Culture - Iain M. Banks
Diziet Sma, Worldbuilding (The Culture - Iain M. Banks), My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags; or it may use exceptions I explain in the form

I've always wanted more of Diziet's travels across 20th century Earth (during State of the Art). I'd love to see her journey somewhere not mentioned in the book (Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Oceania...?) and either despair some more over another of the many failings of that time, or have fun. But I very much want her to stay in the 20th century for it. I really like the way the Culture citizens and Diziet herself see the Earth through their eyes.
In general, I'm a big fan of humour and out-there sci-fi. I also appreciate outsider's POV; perhaps somebody who briefly meets Diziet (or many somebodies who encounter her on her travels) and doesn't really know what to make of her, over a variety of situations.
This can either be used as more world-building about the Culture or not, feel free to (not) do whatever!
Alternatively, it would also be nice to see Diziet after the book and her Contact stint, perhaps discussing her travels and Earth and other planets with other Culture citizens who were never in Contact, and what sort of opinions do they have about our lovely planet.

Parlement (TV 2020)

Honestly, I'd love practically anything about these guys! I'm still watching the series (finished season one, read up some on season two), but I don't particularly care about spoilers, so feel free to pull from any part of it! Or you can stick with season one if that's your preference too. But I do mean it when I say I'll love practically anything.
Some slightly more specific things I'd be excited to see:
- pre-canon Rose, Torsten, or Eamon, whether all apart, or how their paths might have (unknowingly) crossed before while working
- How did Torsten begin working with Ingeborg, what was it like those early days for them...
- Sammy is French; what does he think of Brussels, any incidents with Dutch (sorry, Flemish)?
- sci-fi or fantasy AUs, where they are still working for a government-type institution, but in the future/space/magical realm etc.
- the Vatican/Sealand/Switzerland/something else completely bonkers wants to join the EU. What insanity follows?

Shipping: honestly, any configuration of these four would probably be interesting to see, but when it comes to non-canonical pairings perhaps Rose/Eamon, or Torsten/Rose/Sammy, or Torsten/Sammy, or Torsten/Ingeborg, if you want to bring her in! I'm a big fan of Gen in any case, but if you feel more at home with romance, feel free to pair them up!

World Trigger (Anime & Manga)
Jin Yuuichi, Konami Kirie, Tachikawa Kei, My gift must feature all of my chosen character tags; or it may use exceptions I explain in the form

These are all mostly set pre-canon or during canon. In general, I'm a big fan of (dry) humour or angst with a happy ending, and of course I'll love anything with Jin.

Jin & Konami: I'd love to see old Border (shenanigans) and the relationship between Jin & Konami growing up. Konami was there before Jin, but then Jin was always a bit 'special', so was there any jealousy at the start? Pranking, 'I'm the only child' syndrome for Konami, that then slowly turned into 'big sis' where she decided to show Jin the ropes (who might or might not have already known everything). Or did Jin arrive all traumatised and Konami was just happy to have somebody else that young around and immediately took over his 'onboarding'?

Jin & Tachikawa or Jin/Tachikawa: The very first meeting of Jin and Tachikawa (who apparently enlisted 4 years before the start of manga/anime); was it on official Border business, or have they seen each other around before? Same middle school, some weird meeting in the city... Maybe Jin spent some time covertly following the future Border No. One around, and maybe Tachikawa noticed, or didn't. Probably Jin wasn't fully aware himself why he was so fascinated with Tachikawa (and that it wasn't just Border-related interest!).

Jin & Tachikawa & Konami: would be Border's most powerful team... if they could work together. A-type personalities, but just how badly do they clash is up to interpretation. Sure, if shit hit the fan everything would probably turn out fine, but most of the time the situation is just not that bad and without a threat of death, they probably miss more than they win. Be it random jokes, shenanigans and pranks or actual (practice) battles. Just those three spending time together in some way would be great!

- AUs (yes to canon divergence, DNW anything else)
- Jin being a total pervert (lets just forget that aspect of his character the way the manga seems to have!)
