This is my favorite fandom right now, and while I love all my requests and would be happy with any of them, I'd be happiest if this one was chosen!

I fell in love with this fandom hard and fast. Admittedly, I read it when I was considerably younger, but only after I've crawled through more of my life and some emotional upheaval right before I found it again did it align. Sometimes I feel like an addict going through withdrawal with how small the fandom is, but I'm glad it is to be able to be eligible for Yuletide!
From Eroica with Love has a total of 39 manga volumes, though only 15 officially translated to English before the english distributor went poof. There's some scanlations further ahead floating around on the Internet in some manga reader, but many volumes remain untranslated. However, the fandom has created <a href="http://eroicafans.org/" rel="nofollow">a lovely informative website</a> for Eroica writers and fans, which includes manga summaries for translated volumes and some untranslated ones. I've only read what's been available on English! It is set during the cold war, focusing on how a gay art thief's and a NATO major's paths keep crossing. There is such potential for crack in this series, as well as angst.
Characters: My OTP is Klaus/Dorian. Gods, do I love them. I like how they keep trying to one-up each other, and switch between hindering each other and helping like nobody's business. They try to predict each other's moves to set traps and know each other so well! I also love both their teams (James and Lawrence, not so much), so I would not mind their inclusion.
Potential Ideas:
1) ) Klaus tries to introduce his father to Dorian, but it turns out... they've already met. (Or, prompt: Meeting the in-laws.)
2) Canon divergent AU where Dorian ends up with his mother instead of going with his father.
3) Eroica's skills would make him an exceedingly good agent, if only he were without his eccentricities. An AU where Eroica remains in the KGB's hands for "re-education", as Mischa intended during "Seven Days In September" arc.
4) Dorian is captured. When he's rescued, the only person he seems to have forgotten is the Major.
#) More ideas in letter, no particular order except to cut down on space! But, honestly, I'm desperate for any fic with these two and a happy ending.

The calm magical journey of this manga (and anime) pulled me in deep, and I would do no justice to it trying to explain what it's about. I just love Chise and Elias, and learning about the world's magic, rituals and spells. There's just something alluring about the air of regularity inside a magical world so different from our own. I don't really have much on this (I've not even read fanfic on this...), so whatever works?
Characters: Elias & Chise. I pair them, but I just prefer a platonic romance. Chise-centric. Inclusion of Ruth is a bonus, too, because he comes with a Chise. Alice, I think, is an interesting character also, since her inclusion and her background story sort of breaks my magical fantasy immersion when it was shown. It connected me to how the magical community connected and hides with the mundane.
Potential Ideas:
1) AU, reversal where Chise is the experienced sorceress and Elias is still growing into his.. horns.
2) future!fic, where Chise is alive and grown into her magic.
3) Canon Divergent AU, after Ashen Eye gives Chise the fox pelt, Chise runs and... runs as far as she can go. When does she wake up?
4) Dragons! Dragons! Something with the story revolving the dragons and Chise! \o/

The King's Avatar is a Chinese light novel revolving around professional gaming, specifically a game called Glory and the player Ye Xiu. He's the top player of all of Glory, one of the oldest professional players, and knowledgeable enough of the game to be called 'Glory Textbook'. Under the name "Ye Qiu", which is taken from his twin brother, he plays for the Team Excellent Era. While there are many "Gods" of Glory, he and Han Wenqing were considered rivals.
The story starts when Ye Xiu is forced to leave Team Excellent Era, and under contract, he's not allowed to play professional Glory for a year. He ends up not too far away, working at an Internet cafe...
A lot of the translated English novel is available in Webnovels. There is also the chinese manga, too.
Characters: Ye Xiu/Han Wenqing, at least. I do like almost all of the "Gods" though, so their appearances would be fun! I feel like Ye Qiu, the actual one, deserves to be included more, too, considering his hijacked identity! However, the latter is not necessary.
Potential Ideas:
1) Yè Xiu ends up going to Tyranny after leaving Excellent Era.
2) Yè Xiu quits Glory. Han Wenqing searches for him to get him back.
3) Have these two met before in just regular old Glory before their professional days?
