Pinch hitters, the thought of you brings us joy! We hope the thought of Yuletide brings you joy too.
Yuletide
Yuletide nominations are open and will close at 9pm UTC on Thursday 24 September. Nominations are optional. After that, sign-ups are open between 13 and 23 October.
Yuletide's first pinch hits will go out around 25 October and will be due on 17 December.
Help elsewhere...
Meanwhile, many other multifandom exchanges need pinch hitters right now. If you can help, please get in touch with these events' mods! Please check the gift requirements in each case - some exchanges require 2,000-word fic, some 500, some a nice sketch and some require lineart or colour or specific numbers of figures; some encourage a wide variety of media. They also use different time zones.
If you can take on one of these assignments, consider it a warm-up for Yuletide and general good karma. We appreciate it!
In due date order:
Wingfic Ex - due ASAP
Thinking of You (theme: proxy sex) - due 17 September
MultiFandomTropeFest - due 18 September

Lastly, we hope you have a wonderful Yuletide 2026!
Best wishes, Yuletide mods
