A lot of what I love about these two women is that they're adults with full entire lives and priorities that go beyond each other, but their relationship and their love for each other is allowed to be significant and meaningful anyway. It's a very thoughtful, rational, mature love - "I care for you, and in the right situation I'll choose you" rather than "I'm drawn to you by feelings beyond my control". Anyway, having said that, here are some things I might want for them:
- I'm sad about Sabran's lost child. I would love for them to be able to have a family one way or another!
- Any correspondence during the years they're apart
- Post-retirement fluff for them. A cottage by the sea. I bet they get every newspaper delivered.
I also thought that the Priory worldbuilding seemed super interesting and was not a huge focus in the book, so if you'd rather spend some time exploring the Priory through Ead's eyes that would be cool too.

What's Odile's deal? I would really love to see her think about her role in this story. What does she personally have to gain from impersonating Odette? Does she know that she's dooming Odette to a curse? Can we resolve this with a threesome? Can we resolve this with Odette and Odile eloping? I honestly just really want to see the two of them having a conversation, whatever the outcome.
I'm most familiar with the tragic version of this story, but I understand that there are happy ending versions too, and if that's your preferred version go for it! Either is good with me.

Night In The Woods (Video Game)
Mae Borowski, Bea Santello

I would love to sea anything at all about Bea and Mae and their relationship. Snippets from a childhood friendship. Did they date as teenagers and then figure out they were better as friends? Their friendship is obviously built on so much love but also there's so much tension between them, and I want to see them navigate it. You can go romantic or platonic post-game for me, I don't mind. I would also love to see Mae get some help for the Thing she's going through!
Other things this game touches on that I'd really love to see more of: union activism, the death of the small town (I spent a lot of time in rural Australia growing up, and the feeling is very similar).
Or just write me more Selmers poetry, idk.

I cannot believe that just - in the middle of this story - we're suddenly introduced with no explanation to Marya Morevna, a princess-general who is keeping a powerful sorcerer chained up in her cupboard. Who is she going to war with? What's Koschei doing in the cupboard? How did she and Koschei meet? Was it the same as Ivan - he was passing by and she was like, "Well if you're not in a hurry let's have sex?"? Is this whole cupboard and kidnapping business actually just an elaborate kink scene they've got going on? Does Ivan want to have a threesome with them?
