Chronicles of Elantra - Michelle Sagara
Barian | Warden of the West March (Elantra), Lirienne | Lord of the West March (Elantra)
So, I read Cast in Deception and immediately fell in love with the idea of Barian/Lirienne, with their wary respect for each other and all of the issues of politics and loyalty and trust involved in such a relationship. Then I started thinking, and realized there are a great many gen stories I want about them. What are their different coalitions and how do they balance political maneuvering with more important priorities (the survival of the world, the survival of the Barrani/the Consort, the struggle against shadow...)? Their relationships with the Hallionne, the way that Orbaranne loves Lirienne, and Alsanis adores Barian like a grandchild, and both Barrani return the sentiments in their own ways. The way that the very land (still more the people) of the West March divides its loyalties between them. Their respective relationships with the Lady, Kaylin, and Teela are all pretty fascinating, too. Basically, I'd love to see more of Barian and Lirienne in the same room(/tree/hall/forest clearing/etc), with or without other people to shape the dynamic. Gen or slash, both great.

James Asher Vampire Series - Barbara Hambly
James Asher, Lydia Asher, Simon Ysidro
Morally compromised people trying to do the right thing: my catnip. I adore the relationships among James, Lydia, and Simon, both collectively and in pairs: the way that James and Simon share a past of espionage and understand the brutality of gentility but still stick to a code anyway; the way that Lydia and Simon are both utter research geeks who also love each other but hate what Simon became in 1555; the way that James has always seen Lydia as a brilliant scholar and done his best to stretch the bars of her social cage, even before he fell in love, and Lydia has always seen the ways that James crafts his persona and never demanded that he craft one to benefit her; and the way that the three of them trust and rely upon each other. I would love, love, love any story set after Book 8 that deals with some of the changes it introduced, either in direct follow-up or sometime in the nebulous future after the end of WWI. (Or of course there's plenty of stories to tell within the gaps of the books!) Good with gen, het, slash here, but I'd prefer that you preserve the three-way emotional connection.

Log Horizon (Anime)
Minori (Log Horizon)
I'm in this one for the characters trying to build a functional society after the trapping of the adventurers destabilizes everything. I loved when Shiroe bought the guild building to force everyone to listen, and then I loved even *more* when the second season pointed out that this sort of monopoly could have epically bad consequences, too. I lovelove/love/ Shiroe mentoring Minori, because watching Minori learn how people work and how to put herself forward enough to influence them for the better is wonderful. (Please stick to platonic Minori & Shiroe.) I'm fascinated by the possibilities of Minori/Roe2, because of how alien Roe2 is and how cheerfully new to individuality and interacting with humans she is, and how that affects Minori's ability to see into her and understand her motivations. Honestly, anything involving Minori being smart would be perfect. Alternately, Akatsuki/Crusty/Lenessia/Shiroe is my original 'ship, and I enjoy all the relationships within it; I will happily take a foursome story if you don't want to write Minori. I'm good with gen, het, and/or fem/slash here, but I'd rather not get het or explicit stories about Minori.
