Do Not Wants: tragic ending or any of the major archive warnings except graphic depictions of violence; overall, I wouldn't want anything too grimly dark that doesn't get resolved in a happy ending, and no genuinely/permanently unrequited romantic feelings.
(Main character death is a bit tricky with this canon, but I would be relieved if it could be mostly avoided.)
I would love something with canon-like fun and comedic vibes, perhaps with a hint of romance (I'm quite partial to antagonistic and bickering - but pining - Blackadder/Darling, which is why I picked them as characters, but feel free to keep it gen if that's your preference). A Christmas-themed story might be fun, 'tis the season, after all!
I'd love a post-canon fix-it scenario, but am also quite open to the shenanigans of the Blackadder line in other time settings, be it the modern age, something else from the show, or an entirely different time. AUs are also fine - I'll leave you a lot of freedom with this!

Do Not Want: main character death, tragic ending, character bashing, or any of the major archive warnings (except perhaps graphic depictions of violence?); overall, I wouldn't want anything too dark that doesn't get resolved in a happy ending, and no genuinely unrequited romantic feelings.
Please no crossovers or AUs that are very distant from the canonical actor troupe setting.
I low-key ship Chris/Robert, just for the peak dynamic of rivals-to-lovers, but if you'd rather not go down that route, I'd love a gen fic as well! I only chose these two for that reason, but I do really love ensemble casts, so feel free to heavily feature the rest of the troupe, too.
I'd also love for it to be set within the usual format of a play going catastrophically wrong, because that's always hilarious! Though something during rehearsals or behind the scenes could also be quite delightful.

I am very open to you writing whatever you are inspired towards, but I do have one prompt to offer, perhaps: a decade or so after their play-of-the-week era ended in drama (probably between Chris and Robert, let's be real) and the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society scattered into the winds, they reunite for just one more performance together. Old scandals come to light, the troupe learn what the others have been up to in the years since, and realise that they've missed this more than they'd like to admit; and perhaps, after the curtain falls, they might be open to coming back together for a new start...... provided, of course, they all get through the Play Going Wrong in one piece!

(Sadly I couldn't nominate them together because of the anime/manga split, but in terms of ships I'm quite partial to Balam/Kalego and Iruma/Azz - potentially with Clara or Ameri, too. You don't have to include these ships, but they'd make me happy!)
I kind of would love to see what one could make out of Opera/Cat Teacher - he likes cats, and they ARE a cat, it's a match made in heaven! - but, honestly, you have all artistic freedom, so feel free to include and exclude characters as you prefer.
In case it helps: what I generally really love about Iruma is the wonderful ensemble cast, the comedy, and the genuine fondness all the characters have for each other - as well as the strong moments of emotions that almost surprise you.

I very much enjoy Schubert/Beethoven as a ship, and am a little interested in what Liszt/Chopin would look like, which is why I chose these characters - but if you'd rather keep it platonic/focus only on a smaller subset of the characters I picked, please feel free to do so!
Something I really love about this show is the build-up to increasingly ridiculous things happening, and the strange comedy of it all, though I'm also partial to the moments of genuine emotion here and there, and the Found Family vibes at the Otowa household!
(Also, as proud as I am of my boy Schuu for learning to assert himself, I rather prefer his pre-avocado look and behaviours, though I do think you could give him a bit more self-confidence nonetheless, if you wanted.)

Ships I enjoy are Shinji/Kuwabara, Ronald/Draluc, Kantarou/Nagiri, and perhaps also Clergy/Northdin....?
