Optional details: I put Black Spire for these two but I’d very happily take something set during Phasma! I loved their dynamic in both books. The shifting power dynamic in Phasma is fascinating, where Cardinal ostensibly has all the power but at the same time Vi is basically dismantling his worldview right in front of him. Then in Black Spire they have that traumatic history behind them, but at the same time an absolute trust in one another, because they each saved the other when it would have been easier and frankly safer not to. I ship them but you don’t have to. Feel free to throw in any of the resistance or Black Spire gang as side characters too.

Optional details: I do ship them and would welcome romance and/or smut--but really what I like is the intimacy of their relationship, so as long as that’s there I’m good. Feel free to include other characters from the movie, or OCs, but I would like the focus on Johnny and Henry. Similarly a plot-heavy or con-based fic is welcome as long as it still highlights that relationship.
