Dark Tower - Stephen King
Roland Deschain, Cuthbert Allgood
Cuthbert/Roland is one of my favorite, if not most favorite, Dark Tower ships. I would be interested in Roland’s thoughts after Jericho Hill. I want him to actually go through the process of accepting the death of his best friend/lover not just sort of shrug it off as he seems to shrug off a lot of things during the books. Or something post-Majis with Cuthbert being the main reason Roland can recover and get back to living his life (best he can, anyway) after the trauma of what had happened there. Any kind of hurt/comfort or Roland-being-protective scenario that you’d like, really, would make me very happy. But it does not have to be angst; I very much enjoy fluff and happiness and horseback rides in the summer and kisses in the grass and all manner of cuteness. I would also be very interested in an AU where Cuthbert does not die and continues fighting/traveling with Roland. Feel free to include Alain in large doses, as he is also wonderful and I loved their friendship as a trio.
Please no Roland/Susan, other than mentions necessary to the story.

Piers Gaveston (14th Century CE English Nobility RPF), Edward II of England (14th Century CE English Nobility RPF)
I would very much enjoy any exploration of the Edward/Gaveston relationship you would like to write: as boys, as adults, before or after Edward comes to the throne. What sacrifices did they make for each other? What were their thoughts/feelings as they had to overcome obstacles to be together (in the form of courtiers, Edward’s father, society in general)? Did Edward ever consider abdication, and if he did, why did he not go through with it? Did Piers ever try to convince him to “elope”? Did they ever try to write to each other secretly while Piers was in exile and, if so, what did they say in those letters? I love reading scenes of goodbyes and reunions, as well as scenes that are snapshots of lives/relationships which parallel each other thematically or otherwise. To what extent did Piers’ love for/attachment to Edward intersect or interfere with his personal ambitions? This pairing is ripe for exploring themes of loyalty and protectiveness, as well as hurt/comfort and I would be excited to read any and all of that!

18th Century CE Frederician RPF

I really loved the whole story of their attempted escape to England. It is so tragic and kind of romantic. I think I literally just want a fictionalized story of this friendship/love affair, the attempted escape, the angst that comes after they are caught. Either all of that together or any one part. Although, I would certainly enjoy something set earlier in their relationship. If you are up to writing an AU of history, what would their lives look like if they did escape? I love the potential dynamic with this relationship, the power imbalance, the potential for loyalty themes. I am certain I will enjoy most of anything that you could come up with for this ship.
