safeTALK is appropriate for anyone looking to learn more about suicide prevention - no prior experience required. This is a great opportunity not only for us as service providers, but also for our clients (ex. parents, caregivers). Please feel free to share this information with your networks! CMHA BC will be hosting a safeTALK suicide prevention workshop on Sept 10th 2024 from 9am-1:00pm at our downtown office (101-612 View St). In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day, this training will be offered for FREE. Spots fill up quickly so we are asking participants to pay a $10 deposit to hold their spot; however, the $10 will be refunded upon completion of the workshop.
