Youth Employment Supports at GTHS

Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to share our new Youth Employment Support poster (attached), that outlines that services and supports that are available to our youth clients (anyone under 30), here at GT Hiring Solutions.
A quick breakdown of youth can expect from us is as follows:
1. Youth Drop-in Afternoons – every Mon, Wed, Fri from 2:30-4:30pm where they can receive on the spot job search support
2. Monthly Youth Nights – once a week we will host an interactive evening focusing on job search, employer networking, and life skill development – our first date will be Nov 2nd – stay tuned for more details!
3. Community Outreach – as Youth Employment Coordinator, I will be out and about in the community, connecting with youth, providing presentations, networking with service providers – so please let me know when I can pop by!
4. Case Management – depending on their eligibility, youth may be able to access the extended support of an Employment Service Provider, where the windows of opportunity will just continue to open!
All of these services will be based out of our Douglas Street location, but please know that I am mobile, and very keen to meet with youth, youth advocates, and partners in the community. Please find my contact info below and our poster which outlines all this info attached.
