Hi All,

The Collective for Youth and Society (CFYS) would like to invite you for the 5th annual Flourishing Children & Youth Program Fair, that will take place in UVic Student Union Building (SUB) on Thursday May 7th from 9am to 4pm.

Like every year, the Flourishing Children and Youth Program Fair will showcase community- and school-based programs and initiatives created to support children, youth, young adults and their families, with booth presentations throughout the day as well as discussion panel and round-table discussions.

This year, we will offer a larger space to youth (16-25) by having two youth-led panels, including a discussion panel on “Youth in Action” for youth to present and discuss their youth-led organizations and initiatives, and a discussion panel on “Youth Voice” (i.e., how to enhance youth voice in the community and society). In addition, we will have a youth living library so youth-serving organizations can consult with youth on how to better serve them. Other youth and young adults will be attending the event.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Youth Service Providers Network (YSPN).

We are inviting youth- and family-serving organizations to showcase community- or school-based programs or initiatives that supports children, youth and young adults. You will have access to a tacboard and a table to set up a booth.

Please feel free to share this invitation with your network.

If you have any question, please feel free to contact me.

Best,

Frederick Grouzet (he/him)

I acknowledge and respect the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples on whose traditional territory the university stands, and the Songhees, Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
