Hey everybody,
Yale is apparently not planning renewing its license for GraphPad this year. If you use this at all in your research, please consider emailing the two IT people below, and spreading the word to your lab! There’s a chance they may change their minds.
Thanks,
Jim

Subject: Graph Prism
Dear all,
as per recent announcement, the Yale subscription for Prism GraphPad will be due soon.
As we all use and recognize its value for our data processing and presentations we should give a feedback about the necessity to renew the subscription.
Our opinion matters and we should try.
In order to keep the cost lower, the University might need some of the users to provide basic instruction for other users. If you are willing to participate in that, please mention at your e-mail as well.
Please encourage other colleagues to provide a feedback as well.
Please send any feedback on the use of Graphpad Prism to :
Kerrigan, Lauren lauren....@yale.edu
Paolillo, Joseph joseph....@yale.edu
Thank you for your help.
Best,
Vasso

Thanks Jim. For those of you in labs, it might also be helpful to forward this to your lab if they use Prism, too.
Which Jim said. Go Jim! Happy Friday everyone.
Also allegedly happening for UpToDate
Update: apparently ITS recently reversed this decision per their reply to Josh… GraphPad lives! No reason to send additional emails if you haven’t already. Thanks for rapidly mobilizing behind this important cause.
Have a great weekend!
Jim
