Next YRP General Mtg. will be April 8, not April 1 + other upcoming events

York Road Partnership Members & Friends,

As you know, we usually meet the first Wednesday of each month, but April 1 is the first night of Passover, and so we are rescheduling our April meeting to April 8, 7:15 pm at Govans Boundary United Methodist Church, at 5210 York Road, with a Zoom option.

We realize April 8 is also the Northern District community meeting, but we just couldn't make another evening that week work. We will understand if you want to join our meeting late after the Northern District meeting!

At our April meeting our Nominating Committee will present their proposed slate of 2026-27 York Road Partnership officers and board members. As their Monday post to this listserv said, they are accepting nominations through April 3! You can fill out this form or contact the committee co-chairs Kaye Gooch at kaye....@gmail.com or Bonita Cody at phd...@gmail.com.

• Loyola Community Days: Join Loyola and the York Road Public Spaces & Greening Committee to get some fresh air, meet some fun people, and spruce up our corridor. Both events are Saturdays, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

• Govans Community Farm Grand Opening! Sunday, April 19, 12:00-3:00 pm at Govans Presbyterian Church, 5828 York Road. Join the grand opening of this new corridor resource partially funded by a grant from the State through GEDCO and YRP via the Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative.
