York Road Partnership General Mtg. this Wed., Feb. 4, 7:15 pm! Keep spreading the word on our organizer position

York Road Partnership Members & Friends,

We will get a more formal agenda out, but I wanted to let everyone know that, having taken January off, we WILL have our York Road Partnership General Meeting this coming Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 7:15 pm. Our plan is to meet at our regular location, Govans Boundary United Methodist Church, at 5210 York Road (enter from the back parking lot through the red door on the right as shown on street view here). 

It will be great to reconnect as everyone digs out from this snow. We hope you can join us in person, but you can also register for the Zoom option if you need to attend that way.

There is lots to catch up on and discuss:

• Our search for our new Community Organizer! Please keep spreading the word and this job announcement. (YRP Facebook post to share here.) Applications are due February 20.
• BUILD-style listening efforts this winter leading to joint action this spring.
• Diamyn Wilson, Phyllis Gilmore, and their street outreach team from the York Road Improvement District (YRID) will share an update since their introduction at our October General Meeting. 
• Gia Grier from Loyola will join us to share a joint grant application submitted yesterday by Loyola University (in the lead), YRP, Govans Boundary United Methodist Church, and YRID to the Aspen Institute for a new trust-building initiative of theirs. Fingers crossed!

There's more to share, too. We hope to see you Wednesday!
