Join YRP Leaders at BUILD Rally Monday evening in Annapolis!

While BUILD supports York Road Partnership in our organizing, as a new BUILD member YRP wants to support BUILD, too, on important City-wide priorities.

Please consider joining Bonita Cody, Cindy Camp, and me in heading to Annapolis Monday night to support BUILD legislative priorities to help citizens who have done their time not to have that unfairly block them from jobs and housing as they reintegrate into society. It is a terrific opportunity to support an important initiative, meet BUILD leaders from other organizations, and see classic BUILD mass mobilization to demonstrate power to our State legislature. Back in 2013 that kind of mobilization and organizing won what became our corridor’s 21st Century Schools, and we were part of it then, too, as fellow members of the Baltimore Education Coalition.

We will be riding the new BUILD bus leaving the Church of the Redeemer on N. Charles Street at 5:15 pm. Let us know you are coming, register through the email below, and click that you are with York Road Partnership! And please reach out if you have any questions.

Due to terrific turnout, we've added another bus that will leave from North Baltimore!   If you are changing which bus you are taking, please  re-register so we have correct counts. We're going to Annapolis to support returning citizens and eliminate barriers to reintegration after incarceration.   Monday, February 9, 7pm   Lawyer's Mall 25 Calvert Street Annapolis, MD 21401   Buses will be available at 5:30 pm from East Baltimore, West Baltimore, and SW Baltimore and at 5:15 pm from North Baltimore. Please indicate if you intend to take a bus when you register.
