Loyola YRI Seeking AmeriCorps VISTA for 2021-2022

I addition to positions open at the Govans Farmers Market, Loyola University Maryland is seeking a CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA member to serve as a Community School Capacity Builder with its York Road Initiative. The Initiative supports community and youth development efforts in the York Road neighborhoods and schools just east of Loyola's main campus, including supporting after-school programming and recreation centers. The VISTA will function as a core part of the York Road team, devoted to building an engaged and empowered community of businesses, institutions, and residents focused on efforts to strengthen the area and its commercial corridor.

The position is open until April 10, 2021, with interviews conducted through April. The placement is for one year, starting July 2021. AmeriCorps is a service year program with an annual stipend of $16,000 for Baltimore City residents.
