·         Aviation unit

·         Bomb squad

·         Forensics

·         Gang unit

·         k-9 unit

·         SWAT

Please come out to Idlewood's 1st Community Flea Market on Saturday, June 17th from 11am-4pm @ the People's Lutheran Community Church located @ 6200 Loch Raven Blvd.

 

A Goodwill truck along with Thelma Jean's Soul Food truck will be in attendance as well as live music!  We have over 30 tables of Idlewood residents ready to sell items.

 

 

Monday, June 19:  Community Meeting on the Greenmount Avenue Streetscape:  6pm-7:30pm

 

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation will be hosting a community-wide meeting…..and you are invited!  This meeting will be to update the residents of your community on the Greenmount Avenue Streetscape from 29th Street to 43rd Street.

This is a city-wide call, asking Baltimore residents to avoid having any murders from Friday, August 4th through Sunday, August 6th.

 

This is a city-wide call, asking Baltimore residents to celebrate life & do life-affirming activities this weekend, such as cookouts, block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, games, etc

What Individuals Can Do Between Now & August 4th (along with regularly sharing the attached picture through social media, with hashtags #BaltimorePeaceChallenge #BaltimoreCeaseFire):

  • ASK: Each day, remember to ask at least 3 people to make a commitment to do their part to keep Baltimore murder-free during the 1st weekend of August.
  • DO: Get together with people in your community and decide what kinds of activities you all will do during the 1st weekend of August.
  • BUILD: Talk to people about the resources they need. Share any information you can find about housing, jobs, mental & emotional health, domestic violence help, healthy & affordable food, etc.

 

What Groups, Agencies, & Organizations Can Do 

Between Now & August 4th 

 

·         OUTREACH: Plan dates when groups of your people will go out and tell communities about #BaltimoreCeaseFire Weekend.

  • SUPPORT: Find ways that you can support communities to do life-affirming activities during #BaltimoreCeaseFire Weekend.
