• Public Spaces & Greening Committee meeting TONIGHT, 6:00 pm in-person only at DeWees Park Rec Center, 5501 Ivanhoe Ave. Contact Jarren Williams (jar...@yorkroad.org) or Jen Halstead (jhal...@gmail.com) with any questions. Shout-out also to the many neighbors who came out June 14 for several cleanup sites around three corridor DPW neighborhood dumpsters! YRP Facebook post here. Kudos to Mid Govans leader Marc Carr who organized the effort and secured Healthy Neighborhoods funding for t-shirts and refreshments through one of their small block project grants. Several of us gathered at Belvedere Square for a Pizza Trust lunch afterwards, too. Cleanup and community! Stay tuned for chances to do it again.
• NO Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization Committee tonight. Co-chair Donna Blackwell and I have canceled tonight's meeting, with our next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 7:00 pm. • Semi-Annual York Road Code Enforcement Meeting tomorrow, June 25, 6:00 pm in-person only in the Loyola Public Safety Community Conference Room at 5104 York Road. Enter the property at the right X on this map (by the old CVS), and follow the line to the door at the lower left X on the McDonald's side of the building. Join with our code enforcement guru Peter Duvall, neighborhood leaders, City code inspectors and attorney as we work closely with Baltimore City to get vacant properties fixed up and occupied. And then we will be holding our monthly York Road Partnership General Meeting NEXT Wednesday, July 2, 7:15 pm at Govans Boundary United Methodist Church, 5210 York Road. We'll share and discuss the latest on plans to coordinate with the York Road Improvement District and Invest York Road and report out on the BUILD trainings that many of us have attended over the past six weeks.
