Hi,
During these difficult times, a coalition of organizations is partnering to offer a two-day resource fair and meal service along the York Road corridor on Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th at Woodbourne and York Road (the Family Dollar lot). PATH stands for Pathway for Assistance and Transition from Homelessness and will also include the opportunity for participants to access services at GEDCO’s Community Hub at select times, which is located across the street from the event.
Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of tasks. Note, the shifts are mostly outdoors.
Please visit the volunteer sign up page to register. At the end of the registration process there is a volunteer waiver that must be completed. Feel free to share with others in your network.
The event is co-sponsored by: Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services, Healthcare for the Homeless, York Road Improvement District, Councilman Mark Conway’s 4th District Office, Loyola University Maryland, Govans Boundary United Methodist Church, Govans Presbyterian Church, Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation
Thank you,
Gia
