Reminder: Dewees Park Improvements Meeting TONIGHT!

Good afternoon, 

For folks who attended the York Road Partnership meeting last week, just a reminder that this evening, October 10^th at 5:30pm at Dewees Recreation Center (5501 Ivanhoe Avenue), the Friends of Dewees is hosting a meeting with Baltimore City Rec and Parks to share information about upcoming improvements to Dewees Park including a new walking trail and memorial garden.  

In 2012, partners fought to keep the Recreation Center from being closed.  In 2014, neighbors and partners joined together to create a Community Vision for the park.  In 2018, funding was secured for a number of projects in the vision plan.  Join the Friends of Dewees and help advocate for the future of the Recreation Center and Park! The Friends of Dewees meets every second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm at the Dewees Recreation Center (5501 Ivanhoe Ave).
