An electronic hiccup caused a flyer that went out last week to get lost in cyberspace – unfortunately to most people on our list. Here is a recap about this ground-breaking event! We hope you can come . .
Dear Friends of DeWees Park,
Last March, many of you joined us when the Design Team, convened by the Neighborhood Design Center, held a Visioning Workshop at the DeWees Park Rec Center and gathered ideas from participants on how people would like to see the DeWees Park developed and better
utilized. The ideas were many and creative, and a great deal of enthusiasm was generated! The Design Team has now incorporated these ideas into a Concept Master Plan for Dewees Park that they will present this Saturday to the Community and City.
We invite you to join us for the presentation and discussion of the DeWees Concept Master Plan on
Saturday, June 21st at 10 am at the DeWees Rec Center, 5501 Ivanhoe Road Baltimore 21212.
Clearly a concept Master Plan can only provide a long-term road map for where we would like to go. How we get there will depend on partnerships we have forged between the Mid-Govans Community, York Road Partnership, schools and businesses in the area, and City agencies that are involved with our City parks. We would appreciate your input to guide us on the best path forward.
