Here is the agenda for York Road Partnership's monthly General Membership Meeting this Wednesday, July 2, at 7:15 pm at Govans Boundary United Methodist Church at 5210 York Road (enter from the back parking lot through the red door as shown on street view here). You can also register for the Zoom option if you need to.

As you can see, we've got three key topics for you this summer meeting:

• Northern Community Action Partnership (CAP) Center: We are fortunate that the Mayor's Office of Children & Family Success can join us to share both the services that are available right here at 5225 York Road and some of the discussions they have been having about the future of the building. Come hear the latest and offer your feedback.
• York Road Collaboration: YRP, the York Road Improvement District (YRID, or "the BID"), and Invest York Road have been talking about making our collaboration more formal moving forward, for the benefit of the corridor. Come get an update, and we would love to hear any thoughts or questions you may have.
• Recent BUILD Trainings: Now that we have just joined BUILD, many York Road leaders attended at least one or even all three of BUILD's recent training series. We had eight people at each session! Come hear about those and how we can strengthen our relationships and our ability to accomplish things together here on the corridor.

This is just a quick update that York Road Partnership is meeting TONIGHT at 7:15 pm at Govans Boundary United Methodist Church. More details on our agenda and in the email below. Please come in person if you can! We may not have an August meeting (which would be the day after National Night Out August 5), so this may be our one summer General Meeting. 🙂

We'll be hearing about services and possible plans at the Northern CAP Center; we'll be discussing plans for more formal collaboration among YRP, the York Road Improvement District, and Invest York Road (and we need input from our other members!); and we'll have the chance to get to know each other a bit better and talk about how we can build power for our corridor.
