GEDCO/CARES food pantry closure next week

The GEDCO/CARES food pantry will be closed on Monday, August 1, and on Thursday, August 4.  This is necessary because the parking lot at the rear of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will be re-surfaced.  No cars will be allowed on the lot during the process and there will be heavy equipment in use leading to unsafe conditions for volunteers and clients. No food will be distributed nor will deliveries of donations be accepted.

Please spread the word to your community.  The pantry hopes to be open on Saturday, August 6 (10-noon), and Monday, August 8 (9-11), but that will depend on whether the work is completed by then. 

GEDCO/CARES sincerely regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
