Dewees Park is located on the east side of York Road in the Mid-Govans neighborhood.  It boasts over 14 acres of greenspace and is home to the Dewees Recreation Center, a City Farms Urban Garden, a Baltimore Orchard Project Urban Orchard, a playground, football field, basketball courts, and baseball diamonds.  

Dewees is in the queue to get $700k+ worth of investment over the next 3 years to improve the play areas, install a walking trail and a memorial garden.  Dewees has also been chosen as a potential site for a new futsal court for outdoor soccer. Please share your thoughts on programming and investment in the survey by June 1 to ensure our community has optimal access to resources and programming.

The Friends of Dewees meet virtually every second Tuesday at 5:00pm to discuss improvements to the park and programming. All are welcome.  Information to join the meeting is on YRP's events calendar at www.yorkroadpartnership.org
