York Road Neighbors,

It was great to see many of you at our September 3 General Meeting, and I don't believe we passed along the People's Counsel slides from that presentation. Here they are -- lots of great info there on how to understand your utility bill and save energy.

The first Wednesday in October comes pretty early this year, and we hope you can join us TOMORROW, Oct. 1, 7:15 pm for the York Road Partnership General Meeting at Govans Boundary United Methodist Church at 5210 York Road (enter from the back parking lot through the red door on the right as shown on street view here). You can also register for the Zoom option if you need to.

Here is our agenda. As you can see, we'll get to hear from York Road community leader Phyllis Gilmore about exciting new street outreach she is leading with a small team at the York Road Improvement District through a State public safety grant. We'll also get to debrief on the latest listening and relational conversations we've been having over the past month and how you and your YRP organization can be involved going forward. And we'll also hear from our committees about all the important work and exciting ideas being generated there.

Also, before our General Meeting is the Woodbourne-McCabe Mayor's Community Safety Assessment Walk at 3:30 pm. All who are interested please meet at the Family Dollar parking lot. Contact Woodbourne-McCabe President Phyllis Gilmore for more info at wmna...@gmail.com

Hope to see you tomorrow!

Dan Pontious
President
