Hi, Gardeners!
We're holding our ground-breaking party this Thursday, March 3, at 10:00 a.m. We'll be rolling up sod and laying down soil, compost, weed control fabric, and mulch, with carpet remnants going over the paths.
To prep for this event, we'll need gardeners to help pick up compost and mulch from the Fayetteville compost facility (info at
http://www.accessfayetteville.org/government/solid_waste/compost/index.cfm)
I will be available any time
Tuesday morning to help with compost and mulch pick-ups (it looks like the Fayetteville facility is open 8 a.m - 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Who can join me with a utility bill, and Steve, can you come, too? If so, we'll need probably two trips and we'll be done! Austin, can you provide Steve with a utility bill? When can you two meet?
Finally, I need help getting carpet remnants for the walking paths. Fridays and Saturdays are the best times to get them, apparently - after flooring companies have torn up carpets during the week. Can someone help me pull these heavy things and pile them onto the trailer this Friday afternoon or Saturday morning?
Okay, everyone. Let me know if you have any questions, and please tell me ASAP which of these activities you can help with.
Thanks!
Liev
