شباب اليمن يحتفل بيوم الشباب العالمي من اجل الديمقراطية
أقيم يوم الأثنين الموافق أكتوبر،18، 2010 في صنعاء فعالية نقاشية حول تعزيز الشراكة العالمية لتقوية حقوق الإنسان والتي تنفذ بالشراكة مع مؤسسة بيت النور ومؤسسة التنمية الطبية(هدف)، مؤسسة إبحار للطفولة والإبداع، منظمة التطوع اليمنية و بشراكة مع الصندوق الكندي لدعم المبادرات المحلية – اليمن، وذلك احتفالاً بيوم الشباب العالمي من أجل الديمقراطية والذي يصادف 18 من أكتوبر من كل عام..
الفعالية التي اقيمت في مؤسسة التنمية الطبية (هدف) تشمل على عرض للقيم والمبادئ للمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان بالإضافة إلى استخدام التقنية الحديثة والإعلام الاجتماعي لتعزيز الدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، بالإضافة إلى دور الشباب في رفع الوعي والتضامن العالمي بخصوص التحديات التي تواجه نشطاء الديمقراطية الشباب في العالم.
الجدير بالذكر ان حركة الشباب العالمية من أجل الديمقراطية تحتفل في 18 اكتوبر بيوم الشباب العالمي من للديمقراطية، وهو اليوم الذي يحتفل فيه نشطاء الديمقراطية الشباب حول العالم بدورهم في النضال من أجل الديمقراطية وفي الغالب يواجهون العديد من المشاكل والعقبات في طريق تحقيقها، وفي إطار ذلك يقوم نشطاء الديمقراطية الشباب حول العالم بتطوير وإبداع الوسائل السلمية المختلفة في مواجهة الأنظمة الغير ديمقراطية في العالم. في العام الماضي قام النشطاء الشباب في ذلك اليوم بعرض الأفلام وعقد الحلقات النقاشية والأنشطة الأخرى المختلفة للتعبير عن تضامنهم العالمي في هذا اليوم.
وفي هذا العام يحمل النشطاء حول العالم شعار “تعرف على النشطاء الشباب الذين يوجهون خطرا” بهدف رفع الوعي والتضامن العالمي بخصوص التحديات التي تواجه نشطاء الديمقراطية الشباب في العالم. وتهدف الحركة في هذا اليوم لجذب أنظار العالم نحو معاناة الشباب الذين يقعون تحت الاعتقال او المهددين بذلك بسبب نضالهم من أجل الديمقراطية في بلاد مثل كوبا وبورما وإيران ومصر وزيمبابوي حيث يستخدم الاعتقال بواسطة انظمة تلك الدول لترهيب ومعاقبة النشطاء.
وقد تحدث كلاً من الأستاذ / نبيل الخضر حول مبادئ وقيم حقوق الإنسان و تم إستعراض تجربة مؤسسة إبحار للطفولة والإبداع تجربتها في إستخدام المدونات بينما يسر الحلقة النقاشة الأستاذ/ حسين الجنيد.
وقد حضر اللقاء ألنقاشي عدد من الناشطين الشباب الحقوقيين والمدونين المهتمين بمختلف القضايا الحقوقية ومجموعة من أصحاب القضايا والحقوق وقاموا بطرح اهتماماتهم وتوجهاتهم وما يتعرضون له من قيود وموانع وتضييق على حرياتهم كما تم استعراض عدد من الحالات التي تعرضه إلى منع ظهور صوتها من المدافعين عن الحقوق وقصص نجاح لناشطين شباب على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي والعالمي. حيث اتفق الحاضرون جميعاً على أهمية هذه الفعاليات و ضرورة إستمرارها.

Yemeni Youth Celebrating of World Youth Day for Democracy

On Monday October, 18th, 2010 held in Sana’a Discussion symposium about “Advance Global Partnership to strengthen Human Rights” whereas four Yemeni CSOs organized the event “Health Development Foundation, Ebhar Foundation for Children and Creativity, Yemeni Voluntary Organization and House of Light Foundation” with support from Canada Fund for Local Initiative (CFLI) in Yemen.
Event held in Health Development Foundation’s place, the event cover “Human Rights Values and Defenders principles. As well as, the Use of Modern technology and social media to promote the defense of Human Rights, in addition of Youth’s role in raising awareness and solidarity on the challenges faced by democracy activists, young people around the world.”
It is worth mentioning that the World Youth Movement for Democracy celebrates the Oct, 18th “World Youth Day for Democracy”. The day which commemorates the young democracy activists around the world in their role in struggling for democracy and often face many problems and obstacles on the way to achieving it. In the same frame of this, the young democracy activists around the world have develop creativity and peacefully means in the face of undemocratic regimes in the world. Last year, the young activists implemented activities such as screening, symposiums, etc to express their globally solidarity in this day.
This year, the day has been made under the theme “Recognizing, young activists at risk”. In particular, we want to draw the World’s attention to the plight of young people who have been detained, or who face possible detention because of their activism in the countries such as (Cuba, Burma, Iran, Egypt, and Zimbabwe), where detention is used by regimes of those states to intimidate and punish activists.
Spoke both of Mr. Nabil Al-Khader, the Chair person of Ebhar Foundation for Children and Creativity about Human rights values and defenders principles and has been shared experiences of Ebhar Foundation for Children and Creativity in blogging while the symposium was facilitated by Mr. Hussein Al-Junied.
The event was attended by number of young activists in human rights, justice and blogging furthermore they shared their stories and experiences. Also they share number of cases that young activists been detained National, regionally and globally, Where all attendees agreed on the importance of these events.
