Vacancy for Nutrition and Health Communications Manager

The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Brussels, which provides science-based information on food-related subjects relevant to a range of stakeholders, including health and nutrition professionals.

 

The main purpose of this new role is to ensure that health and nutrition communication projects, especially those focused on energy balance, are managed successfully.  This is a senior management position in EUFIC, building on and extracting new insights through research, and developing communication tools in response.

 

The ideal candidate will have a nutrition or dietetics degree, a communications background or experience, and ideally a PhD, with at least 8-10 years experience in a nutrition/food science/dietitian field.  Fluency (spoken and written) in English is essential, and other European languages are desirable.
