LeAD CAMPUS?
LeAD Campus is a high-level certificate programme co-delivered by four prestigious institutions in Africa and in France. The programme equips high-potential Africans from the private and public sectors to develop their leadership, their vision and their business for the sustainable and inclusive growth of the continent.
LeAD CAMPUS was initiated by the Fondation AfricaFrance and is operated by Sciences Po Excecutive Education, the GSDPP at the University of Cape Town, ISM Dakar and the AFD.
The first year of the programme was a great success:
- The 2016 cohorte gathered 25 leaders from 14 African countries reflecting the diversity of the continent;
- The academic curricilum was a mix of 3 on-site seminars (in Cape Town, Dakar and Paris) and distance activities (mentoring, e-learning courses, language upgrading, etc.);
- Many African and French businesses took part in the programme and shared their know-how (site visits, sessions, discussion panels, participants supervision, …).
2017 recruitment is now open! The 2017 cohorte will be limited to 30 participants.

The academic dates of the programme are:
- Cape Town - 2nd to 7th April 2017
- Intersession 1 (Distance learning) - 8th April to 1st July 2017
- Dakar - 2nd to 7th July 2017
- Intersession 2 (Distance learning) - 8th July to 23rd September 2017
- Paris - 24th to 30th September 2017
For your information, the programme fees amount to € 12,000 and include:- Training costs during weekly seminars in Cape Town, Dakar & Paris as well as distance learning. Courses and lectures are delivered by experts, academics, high-level speakers and include activities such as cultural/business visits. A Mentor will assist each participant throughout the programme.
- Accommodation and meals in Cape Town, Dakar and Paris.
- Local transportation.
Are not included: Airline tickets to Cape Town, Dakar & Paris, visa fees and transfer to/from the hotels.
Please note that this is a bilingual programme therefore you must have a sufficient listening comprehension in both French and English.
