Holidays From the Heart

Good Morning YPC members! 

Each holiday season Children's Hospital of Los Angeles promotes their Holidays From the Heart program which serves CHLA families who are financially unable to provide for themselves and their children during the holiday season. There is a great need for volunteers as this program has thousands of adults and children who participate in it. 

YPC has participated in the program for the last three years and it continues to be a highlight each year. This year the Holidays From the Heart program has identified three ways in which we can volunteer and be involved in the program. 

1) 8 volunteers are needed on December 19 from 3-5 in  "The North Pole" at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. These volunteers will organize, sort, and gift wrap presents. 

2) Volunteers are needed to call families that have signed up to be a part of the program and interview them about their greatest needs. This can be done from the comfort of your home and volunteers are hugely needed. 

3) Drivers are needed to drop off presents to participants at their homes (Dates and times TBD based on volunteers/Holidays from the Heart availability)
