· The Donor Centric upgrade of our constituent and financial databases has been completed, as required by our national office. The work continues for three months with the financial database has to run parallel.
· We have seven staff members attending the MAWFA/national conference at Disneyland at the end of October.
· I am very pleased to report that we’ve retained a firm that specializes in non profit accounting to support our accounting, audit prep and financial oversight. They have been onsite and a tremendous source of knowledge and experience.
· We are gearing up for our annual financial audit – the team will be onsite the end of October for 2 weeks.

External Events:
Ferrari Owners GG Rally 2015 – We are beyond thrilled to announce the results of this year’s Ferrari Owners Group Rally. Previously, the FOG Rally had different beneficiaries each year and due the tremendous outcome of their rally last year, which raised $250,000; their Board voted to have GBAMAW remain the beneficiary! This year, they did decide to modify the event, the format, scale back the rally, and hire professional staff to help alleviate the extended amount of personal time that was going into the event. Even with those changes they completely shocked us with the news that they will be presenting us with a check with $275,000!!! This will set another external event record or our chapter!

Staffing & Board News
We have had a few staffing changes at the end of our fiscal year.
• Kathleen O’Sullivan – Auction Manager since 2011 decided to return to teaching
• Sarah Kaplan – Designer & Digital Strategist since 2011 decided to return to school
• Sinclair Crockett – Major Gifts Officer since 2012 decided to return to her consulting business
• Brit McLaughlin – Senior Events Coordinator since 2011 decided to try out that crazy tech industry here in SF
• Maria Munoz – Accounting Director since 2008 will end her service on October 14 after 7 years with MAW. Maria is a wish mom and had an opportunity to work 5 minutes from her home and spend more time with her family, including her adult son who still needs a great deal of care.
Each of those listed above contributed more to MAW and its successes over the past years than can be listed here. They were all rockstars in their roles, loved MAW and its mission and they will all be missed!
The good news is that we have made headway finding new folks for these roles.
